Hi, I'm Fernanda and my favorite color is yellow. It's actually not the first time I introduce myself that way. Ever since I was a kid, I found colors really important for me and I never hesitated to choose my number one. The first time I wore glasses I didn't need them, my eyesight was perfect. But maybe I thought by wearing frames I would be able to see a different world; one with more intensity in every color and with every texture so defined that I could even feel it. Yet way beyond the visually apparent, I though that if I used them I would be able to regard from a different perspective the attitudes of an atmosphere so gray and boring for me.

When I put in my first cassette into my Walkman, I didn't do it to escape from the world that I'm describing. I did it to enter to a whole spectrum of perspective possibilities and expresssions of reality. I am in love with music in all its forms and it has helped me to live and feel my life from different points of view.

I studied Communications to embrace this passion for collecting perspectives and now I love to put that into practice by creating brands inspired on different colors, sounds, textures, lifestyles, attitudes and emotions.

"Nathaly, put on your purple sweater, it's could outside." "No, mom, I'm wearing my electric blue jacket". The only thing that nobody had to do for me at young age was to tell me how to dress. I do not consider myself as what is commonly known as 'expressive' but there's no doubt that my style spoke for me. For people in general it worked with words and gestures, but for me with colors and clothing patterns. My roomies: my magazine and sticker collection, my print jerseys and my outrageous colored jackets; and while my friends preferred to play with their Barbies, I spent my entire evenings cutting and creating collage with Vogue, Vanity Fair and Elle pages.

With time I got to find another way to express myself: dancing. The 'floreo', the 'zapateo', the castanets and the dresses totally captivated me and made me a 'Flamenco' lover. What I admire is it's huge sound variety which serve as the perfect scenario to combine hands, feet and music; its visual range goes from the dress to the 'abanico' and both express the enormous passion used to perfom this dance.

I never thought that I would find a professional activity that could blend all my defined passions, until I started my professional degree in Design and Visual Arts. With it my expressions were strengthened. With design I can really try and combine as if I was dressing someone else, and with art I can explore, feel and transmit as if I was dancing a "Flamenco" song. With Indigo I can offer all of this inspiration to continue creating by means of different expressions and styles.
